Children start their lives with a blank slate. The emotions they put forth are genuine and real. I have seen the world through their eyes as I photographed them. They were comfortable and natural around the camera. The way I could capture their vulnerability and purity was a wonder to me. When we look back at the moments captured of us as children, we may not remember the details of the situation but we can always see the honest emotion and simplicity of that moment. We relate to the child in all of us because we want to see the world again with wonder, excitement and innocence. I want to capture it so we can all remember to approach the world as children do.
